  • Personal Fitness Achievements: Semi professional Rugby and cricket player, Multiple Mountain Bike Stage races, including the world renowned Absa Cape Epic 9 day mountain bike stage race which I completed 3 times, finishing in the top 100 twice out of 1200 riders(best result 56th), riding up to 7+ hours a day.
  • Why Did You Become a Personal Trainer? Because I want to inspire people, I want someone to look up to me and say, because of you I did not give up.
  • What Do You Love Most About Your Job? I love everything about my job, from the moment we start a new health and fitness journey to the day we achieve the goal.
  • Favorite Client Success Story: In 2005 a Client came to me to start personal training, her goal was to lose weight but not through nutrition and strenuous exercise but just to change her lifestyle through continuous daily exercise and making more healthy choices. Well 17 Years Right up until I moved to Canada she trained with me up to 3x per week, in that time not only did she lose 80+lbs I slowly got her into cycling and 7 years later she was once ranked in the top 15 Ladies Veteran Cyclist in South Africa. Till this day she is still very active in weight training and Cycling at the age of 57. I have many other success stories that myself and my clients are very proud off and hope to continue.
  • Your Own Fitness Journey: When I finished school I enrolled into Sport and exercise technology 3 year course at Technikon Pretoria where I received my Diploma in Personal Fitness training in 2000. In 2001 I broke my leg in rugby and because of the recovery time I decided to go to London(England) to start my Personal Training Career. I worked in various Gym’s on contract basis and gained a lot of knowledge, after 3 years I moved backed to South Africa where I continued playing Rugby and working as a personal trainer with a Private gym. Over the years I built up a steady client base and continued up until 2017 when me and my family moved to Canada.
  • Hobbies and Interests Outside of Fitness: Mountain Biking, Fixing and building bicycles, Fishing, Camping, Exploring.
