Built brick by brick

One owner.
One standard.

Justin Mondor is the founder and president of Brickhouse Gym and Gym Star Apparel Canada. Brickhouse wasn’t built by a franchise or a corporate committee. It was built by a lifter and entrepreneur who has spent his adult life inside real training and fitness-retail culture.

Self-made and self-taught, with over 18 years in the industry, he set out to build the gym he always wanted to train in — and then raised the standard for what a gym in Regina could be.

2007
Founded Gym Star — the start of nearly two decades inside bodybuilding apparel culture.
2012
Opened the first Gym Star Pro Shop, built around serious lifters and the gear they actually use.
2013
Visited Destination Gym in Dallas, Texas — a retail store paired with a world-class gym, and a reference point for what Brickhouse could become.
2019
Opened Brickhouse Gym on March 13, proving Regina wanted something better than standard commercial fitness.
Today
A 12,000 sq ft premium training ground at 1301 Osler St, still owner-led and member-driven.

Why Brickhouse exists

A world-class gym, built for Regina

Travelling the world and training in gyms everywhere showed Justin what a serious training environment could feel like. Brickhouse is his answer for Regina — a place where like-minded people gather and train at the highest standard.

What inspired it

Justin’s travels and experiences in gyms around the world inspired him to bring a world-class gym to Regina — a space where like-minded people could gather and train. The pairing of a premium retail store with a top-tier gym, seen first-hand at Destination Gym in Dallas, became the model he wanted to build on here.

Vision & mission

To lead by example, motivate others to change their lives for the better, and share real fitness, nutrition, and business guidance. The mission is a world-class fitness environment in Regina, where members train inside a motivating, like-minded community — and become the strongest version of themselves.

Philosophy
10 actions × 10% = 100%

Justin’s operating belief is simple: real-world fitness and a strong work ethic win. Every deliberate action delivers roughly ten percent of a result — take ten of them and you reach the whole goal. It’s the thinking behind his DecaGram coaching program, and the discipline behind the gym itself. Keep learning. Stay true to your values. Do the work.

The way you do one thing is the way you do everything.

Off the floor

Beyond the training floor

Justin has been immersed in fitness since he was 20. Through his connections and travels he has trained alongside professional bodybuilders, gaining knowledge and experience he now brings to the members of Brickhouse.

Away from the gym, he’s a builder and a maker — the same hands-on, do-the-work mindset that keeps the facility running.
