Lift with purpose
Every lift in your program earns its place. If it does not make you stronger, build muscle, or move your total, it goes.
Dana Molander is a competitive powerlifter and independent strength coach working 1-on-1 out of Brickhouse Gym in Regina. His entire system fits on one line: lift with purpose, eat like an adult, recover, repeat.
The intake form goes straight to Dana
Here is the bad news up front. Dana has no 21-day transformation, no secret exercise, and no gadget that does the work for you. If that is what you came for, close this page now. Plenty of people will gladly take your money.
What Dana has is older and far less exciting: a barbell, a plan, enough food, enough rest, and the discipline to repeat it for months. It is the same hard-training, old-school mentality that put 600.7 lbs on his back, 462.9 lbs in his hands, and 677.9 lbs off the floor in competition.
The basics work. They have always worked. They fail for one reason only: people stop doing them. That is the problem a coach solves.
Dana’s philosophy takes ten seconds to read and years to master. Every client he works with runs on the same four rules.
Every lift in your program earns its place. If it does not make you stronger, build muscle, or move your total, it goes.
Performance nutrition that fuels the training: real meals, consistent habits, and targets matched to your goal. No crash diets.
You get stronger between sessions, not during them. Recovery gets the same respect as the heaviest set of the week.
Strength is a long game. The plan works when you show up next week, and the week after. Dana holds you to it.
Anyone can post a gym lift. A competition lift counts only when referees say it counts: squat to depth, bench paused on the chest, deadlift locked out, all on command. Raw means no squat suit and no bench shirt carrying the load.
You do not need to compete to train with Dana. You do get a coach who has tested every piece of his own advice under a loaded bar, in front of judges, with nowhere to hide.
Dana works with each client individually. The focus stays on four things he knows cold.
Training that builds a lean, strong, powerful physique. More weight on the bar and more muscle to move it.
Eating set up to drive your training and your body composition, not to chase the diet of the month.
Squat, bench press, and deadlift coached by a lifter who competes in all three.
Preparation for the platform from a coach who has stood on it, whether it is your first meet or your next one.
Dana coaches 1-on-1, so his roster has a hard ceiling: one coach, a fixed number of hours in a week. The intake form is how he decides who gets them.
You do not book through the gym and you do not talk to a salesperson. You deal with Dana directly from the first message.
Tell Dana where you are now, what you lift, and what you want. Be specific. Specific answers get specific coaching.
No assistant and no auto-reply funnel. Dana reviews your form and contacts you directly.
If it is a fit, you and Dana lock in the goal and the schedule, and the work starts.
No payment. No contract. No pressure. You tell Dana where you are and where you want to go. He tells you straight whether he is the coach to get you there. The only way to lose is to keep guessing on your own for another year.
A year from now you will be a year older either way. Decide today whether you will also be stronger. Fill in the intake form and Dana takes it from there.
