VV Training · Independent coach at Brickhouse

Real training.
Real results.

Victor Vandresar has been under a bar for 29 years. He never trained for a look. He trained because it kept his head straight when nothing else did. Now he coaches the person in front of him, one hour at a time, on the floor at Brickhouse Gym.

The story

The gym got him through it. Then it gave him a job to do.

Victor found training at 11, in his uncle T.C.’s trailer, on a single weight machine. He came from a broken home. When things got bad, that machine was where he went. He did not know much about lifting. He knew it made the noise stop.

That was 29 years ago. He has not stopped since. Through the worst stretch of his life, years lost to drugs and alcohol, the gym was still the one thing that slowed everything down. The longest he ever went without training was the 28 days he spent in rehab. He walked out and went straight back to the bar.

Today Victor has been sober for almost 11 years. The physique, the strength and the changes in the mirror came with the work. He will tell you plainly that none of it was the point. The discipline, the habits and the mental strength he built in the gym are what carried into the rest of his life.

The physical changes are the bonus. What you build inside yourself is what matters most.

He spent most of his working life in the oilfield and was content there until his body gave out at 38 and that door closed. He could have called it the end of something. Instead he took nearly three decades of experience and started giving it back. That is where VV Training came from.

The VV is his initials. Turn the mark upside down and it reads as AA. That part is his. It is on the logo because he does not hide where he came from, and because the person walking in with a hard story is exactly who he knows how to coach.

Straight answer first

Victor is not the right coach for everyone.

He does not sell transformations off a template, he does not train two people the same way, and he is not interested in making you need him. Before you book, check which column you are in.

Book Victor if you

  • Are starting from zero, or restarting after years off, and want to be taught properly rather than thrown at a workout
  • Have been told your body cannot do what it used to and want a coach who respects a limitation without lowering the standard
  • Need accountability more than you need another program you will not follow
  • Are carrying something heavier than a barbell, and want a gym that helps with that too
  • Want to leave coaching able to train on your own, not dependent on someone standing beside you

Look elsewhere if you

  • Want hype, countdown timers or someone yelling motivation at you
  • Are chasing a look and nothing else
  • Expect a coach to carry the effort for you
  • Want to be judged for where you are starting from. That does not happen here.

Mental strength

The reason Victor trains. The reason most of his clients keep training after they no longer need him.

Discipline

Built one session at a time. It does not stay in the gym. It follows you home and to work.

Accountability

You bring the effort and the honesty. He brings the structure, the feedback and the follow-up.

Hard work

The standard stays high. Setbacks are expected. Perfection is not.

No judgment

All shapes, all sizes, all ages, all walks of life. Victor has been the person nobody expected to make it.

Training built around you

Same standard. Different approach for every person.

Coaching is a partnership. Victor brings the knowledge, the structure, honest feedback and accountability. You bring effort, communication and responsibility. His first job is to understand where you are actually starting from, then figure out what you need from him.

Sometimes it is intensity

Pushing you harder than you thought you could go, because he can see you have more.

Sometimes it is accountability

Showing up when you said you would, and having someone notice when you do not.

Sometimes it is slowing down

Teaching execution, programming and why the work matters, so it sticks after the session ends.

Always, it is honest

Real feedback, real language, no forced selling. It all matters, and none of it is fake.
